It has be way too long since I’ve posted!

I thought it would be a great time to share a new pancake recipe I recently tried. Since my most recent cravings have been for pancakes, I wanted to find a healthy way to enjoy them. Topped with natural peanut butter, sugar free jelly, and sliced banana- these are hard to beat! I like to make a big batch and use them throughout the week for my snacks. Pop them into the toaster, add some toppings, and you’re set!

Image1 whole egg
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 skim milk or unsweetened almond milk lite
2.5oz container baby food applesauce
1 tsp brown sugar Splenda
3 tsp Baking powder
1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder

*Combine ingredients and cook on griddle over medium heat.

*This makes about 5 pancakes. If cooking for 2 or for leftovers, I would recommend doubling the recipe.
